... that Kickstarter has to go through an approval "vetting" of your project before it can actually go live. So it'll go live whenever that's done.

Be sure to arrange things so the KS campaign ends on the first Fri or Sat after the 15th of the month. That's the best time to make a couple of extra bucks right at the end.

Um... okay, enlighten me. How does that specific timing help you?

Many people get paid on the 1st and the 15th. The first check of the month is usually dedicated to bills but after the second check of the month people feel they have some fun money to spend and are more likely to pledge.

As for the "End on Friday or Saturday," I'm not sure but it supposedly means more people will pledge.
