The Kickstarter for Polychrome is live -- and doing well so far!

  I have been told by multiple people that announcements on Friday night are likely to NOT be seen by nearly as many people as I'd like, so I'm repeating this announcement today (Monday). My Oz-based novel Polychrome didn't quite fit with any publisher's categories, so I'm Kickstartering it. If you want more details on what that's all about, here's the link!

Question, the 'Hero of Oz' level, role in an upcoming book- by any chance, would one of those roles be in one of the Grand Central Arena books? 'Cause I'd be sorely tempted if it was... ^^

As it says, it's negotiable. I don't have a *contract* for a new GCA novel yet, but the discussion on it has begun, and from my PoV it's popular enough that even if Baen decides not to go for it that *I* will go for it. So there will be another Arenaverse novel. Which means, in effect, yes, of course.

The currently contracted novels are two Boundaryverse novels (one finished, one not) and the two sequels to Phoenix Rising.

Of course, while I cannot *officially* change the rewards themselves (Kickstarter will not permit it), I would be open to negotiation in the higher bracket, given that for some people travelling across the country just to meet me would be both expensive and in many ways timewasting. (It's not like I live in, say, LA or NYC or Florida, places that people want to go just because).

Good to know! I'm strongly considering it, largely dependent on whether or not I can justify spending the money ^^

Certainly. I don't want people spending money they can't afford; honestly, if this works, I would expect to do several more, so I'd want my supporters to still be around to support, say, Stuff of Legend or Demons of the Past or Spirit Warriors if those don't sell.

Note that you could easily just support at a LOWER level and then, if you decide you want to go for it, just add in more money and change your reward level. Kickstarter lets you do that.
