10. You get what you pay for; get paid yourself.
11. George Carlin said the glass is twice as big as it needs to be; I say it's the glass that I haven't seen since the last time I let someone visit my house. More seriously, it depends who had the glass last. Some people are fillers, some are emptiers.
Bottles, on the other hand, are things that tend to be filled only by a very few people, while almost everyone empties them. The balance of probability is half-empty.
This principle especially applies to countries deep in economic misery, which is how I first heard the question applied.
12. Depends if you'd been really mean to me recently.
It's a form of lying, which is a severe strain on me. On the other hand, I was brought up in an environment of "constructive criticism", which seemed to mean smug malignant candor. The gripping hand is, you don't seem to be stupid, and can probably decide for yourself whether or not to act on information.
13. Sabotaging the invasion of the Dianetic Thetans with nothing but a couple of bags of powdered sugar, watching their transport phase out and melt, and you suddenly saying, "They still have my shoes." I thought I was gonna pee.

More seriously, I've reached the point in life where I've pretty much given up doing stuff that makes me feel guilty, or feeling guilty about harmless stuff I do.

2 ) Every virus capable of infecting a human being, a cat, or both is to be reduced to amino acids and nucletides at once;
3 ) Everybody who says people should live a certain way is to have experiences that leave the persons who made that decision for the rest of the world living that way themselves for the rest of their lives. (And I think people should live in a condition of prosperous technological comfort and have SF/Fantasy conventions held in their convenient travel radius once a month.)

13. What is your favourite memory of us? Probably #9 above, that research paper was much more pleasant to write than the original topic would have been.

15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I went to the high school used for the outdoor school scenes in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, and at the same school was a background extra in a Disney Channel movie.

You can have three wishes: One full presidential term of the federal and state governments putting the people before their party (hey, it's a wish it doesn't have to be realistic), for US Internet speed and pricing to improve such as to actually be one of the best in the world, one winning lottery ticket (doesn't have to be a million dollars, I'll settle for $50K).
17. If it were possible would you want to hang out with me sometime? (Pretty sure I just asked everyone on my LJ out on a date..) If you ever attend in Arizona convention I can picture talking your ear off. :)
18. Which country is your spiritual home? The US. I can picture traveling and even visiting other places for a time, but this is my home.
19. What is your big weakness? Faced with a blank page I can be distracted by not merely cat pictures but also housework (this might be the main reason I do housework these days).
20. Do you think I'm a good person? I've yet to face palm and say, "Oh no, no Ryk, no."
21. What was your best/favourite subject at school? Split between art and whatever science I was taking that year. But I do have fond memories of my one year of chorus.

23. If you could change anything about me, what would it be? Probably more power than I really want. But maybe look for an obstacle to remove.
24. What do you wear to sleep? No storage for pajamas, so old t-shirts and (in winter) socks.

15. Tell me one odd/interesting fact about you: I'm gradually teaching myself to be ambidextrous, and I have taught myself to read upside-down and/or backwards.

You can have three wishes: Shapeshifting, existing in multiple places at once, hassle-free asexual reproduction (like, none of this mammalian stuff of 'carrying for 9 months then painful birth' and 'having to wait through a dumb baby stage'.
