Hell Week...

... After the delay that stuck us in Chicago for all of Saturday, causing us to only get back home on Sunday, I had to immediately shower, unpack, and repack, and go to work to get the material to go to a conference here in Connecticut (Hartford); I'm here until Wednesday, whereupon I'll go back to Albany, drop off the conference materials, get to sleep at home for one night, and then fly out to Washington on Thursday. And I have too much to do to be able to take Friday off, alas...

... and this hotel *sucks*. Just for the record.

I hate it when Hell week comes right after vacation. You've got my sympathy.

If you can't kill something writing, how about via computer games? I always feel better after blasting some over-ambitious, flesh hungry alien or zombie.

I much prefer going to a gun range when needing stress reduction. There's nothing IMO better than real targets being shreded by your own hand to put things right in headspace.
