Depressing start to a anniversary...

... today's our 11th anniversary. It began at 12 midnight last night, with my wife at the hospital with her sister Maria who was suffering excruciating abdominal pain. She ended up coming home around 2:30. We were then woken up around, I'd guess, 4-5 by a phone call to tell us what was going on, then she had to call her parents, etc. So neither of us got much sleep at all and we still don't know for sure what's wrong with her (may be appendix, gallbladder, or Something Else Entirely).

NOT exactly what we had planned for today. :(
