I do! My copies of Schlock Mercenary: Under New Management just arrived.

Yes, I said "copies". Howard, being the clever and evil author he is, gave me another copy. Which I will, naturally, give to someone who knows not the wonder of Schlock so as to make another addict. This is how we authors help each other out, you see.

I will NOT give away the first copy, as it has a marvelous sketch of Sergeant Schlock about to eat my most-loathed General Xinchub.

THANKS, HOWARD!!!!!

For those of you who don't understand what I'm talking about, go immediately to http://www.schlockmercenary.com . Make sure, of course, that you have several free hours to read the entirety of the archives. Then buy all of Howard's stuff.
(the last applies also to those of you who DO know Schlock already).

OOOH

You'll have to show it to me Friday.

My copy hasn't arrived, but for some reason we tend to get less mail when our regular mailman is on vacation...

My copy isn't here. Everyone in the UK seems to have got theirs, but it can't get delivered to rural Alabama? Not fair!

I got mine yesterday, but I'm in Huntsville. Hopefully you'll get yours today. I'm really glad mine did get there yesterday, because I got it out of the mail less than an hour before I left for the airport for a week-long out of state trip.

Schlock Mercenary comforted me on the plane ride, oh yes, yes it did.

Perhaps it's not fair, but then again the UK folks paid $10.00 for shipping, and could only order two at a time.

Your book should arrive today or tomorrow, if I'm any judge of these things.

Howard, I'm sorry if you thought I was actually calling it unfair, rather than whining in a jokey fashion. My winking smilie was intended to convey that I wasn't serious about it.

Hey, no sweat. I'm just letting you know. The difference is that US Media Mail takes four to six days, and Worldwide Priority Mail takes two to four. If there had been a cheaper option for Worldwide, I would have used it.

I actually knew all that because I read Blógünder Schlock, see...

Today is a happy day, however! It came! Mmmm. Glossy. :D
