Daylight-Visible PDAs?
Oct. 3rd, 2006 09:27 amI'm looking for PDA units which are usefully visible in daylight conditions outdoors. The daylight visibility is a major requirement, along with WiFi built-in. I know about the super-expensive rugged things like the Recon line; I'm looking for something that isn't THAT pricey. Any suggestions? (I'll be posting this a couple other places, so don't be surprised if you see it in more than one place)...

Not sure on what you consider pricey but the regular prices range from $299 to $549 or so depending on processor and such.
I've had an IPAQ, 2 Palms and a Handspring Visor and the Axim is by far the best thing since super bouncy balls.

On the other hand, my Dana Wireless does well.

If you can define your specifications further, I'll try to replicate them to see if this PDA suits your needs.
