Sick, sick, sick...

... physically. My mental condition hasn't changed.

Some sort of respiratory infection which has basically dropped my lung capacity to the point that my blood oxygen levels were no longer at a decent level, etc., etc..

The doctor -- a no-nonsense lady about five years older than me, I'd guess -- set about completely changing my course of asthma treatment, set me up the bomb on a temporary course of prednisone, etc., and gave me an antibiotic to kill off whatever's causing this.

She also told me not to go to work tomorrow, in very emphatic tones.

Somehow she reminded me strongly of my mother, so I did not argue about this.

In all seriousness, I wish you a speedy recovery, and I'm glad you are following doctors orders. Don't make me come up there and get maternal on you too. It would not be pretty. :-P
