Name your top six TV shows right now, before reading the questions.

Interesting note:sinanju chose all current shows. I don't WATCH that many current shows, and I noted that the "choose" line didn't include a requirement to do so, so I selected a mix of current and favorite shows.
01. Who is your favourite character from #2?
Oooo, that's a hard one. Escaflowne has so many great characters; even side/short term characters like Vargas get great scenes.
I think I'll go with Hitomi, though.
02. Who is your least favourite character from #4?
Of the regulars... Boa Vista, I think. She just hasn't grown on me as a character and sometimes I've found her annoying.
03. What would a crossover between #1 and #5 include?
Heh. I've actually thought about that. The whole cast of CSI: Vegas meeting up with the Doctor and whatever companions he had along. I've often thought that an excellent alternate-history crossover would have the Doctor (#2) injured by something and then having to regenerate, where he'd go to Doc 4 (Tom Baker) instead of 3. Then the CSI team comes along and tries to make sense of the evidence, with this little 5'3" guy injured, falling down, and then a 6'4" person walking away.
I'd have to think about exactly what plot I'd want for a real crossover. Me and Kathleen gamed one out at one point, but it was also a crossover between both of those and FullMetal Alchemist.
04. Who is your favourite ship from #6?
They didn't really HAVE ships, mostly aircraft. Of which the eponymous Airwolf is by far the best.

Heh, heh. That's evil. Babylon 5 meets Airwolf. Ummm... Stringfellow Hawke and Commander Susan Ivanova, I think. Either way there would be fireworks -- the good kind or bad kind would depend on the exact situation...
06. If you could meet one person from #4 and spend the day with them, who would it be, and what would you do?
Dang, that's actually a hard call. Several of the major characters are pretty interesting and would have a lot to show someone in a single day; it would also depend on whether the "day" would include following them around at work. I can narrow it down to either Calleigh or Horatio... but it's a hard, hard call which one. I'd definitely do it on a Filmable Work Day and risk the bullets, explosions, etc., because I'd want to really see them doing the job.
I'd also want to find a way to obtain their Super Image Enhancement software and bring it back.
07. If you could change one thing about #2's plot line, what would you change?
I'd just want to modify the very end to make it clear that one day Hitomi will return to Gaia, when she's finished what must be done on Earth. There are implications of this (to me) but as it stands the ending is ambiguous to many people.
08. Explain a relationship between two people (not necessarily romantic) from show #5, and why you like the relationship between them.
Gil Grissom and Captain Brass. They're close friends -- something that seems rather odd at first, as Brass appears to be your classic hard-ass cop and Grissom is this head-in-the-clouds geek with almost no people skills (and no real interest in acquiring them, either). But Brass sees in Grissom a completely honest, clear-headed (if odd) man that's utterly trustworthy and, in many ways, innocent -- something very, very unusual in most cops' worlds -- while Grissom sees in Brass an honest, straightforward police officer who keeps on going no matter how much crap life throws at him -- and life throws an awful lot at Brass.
09. If the lead title characters (first name in the credits) from #1 and #3 were both drowning, and you could only save one, who would it be?
Oh, definitely the station Commander (either Sinclair or Sheridan) from Bab5. The Doctor will either just use some Time Lord trick to stop his breathing until someone eventually pulls him up, or regenerate later. And he'd tell me to rescue the other guy anyway.
10. If you could change the title characters' order in the credits for #4, what order would you choose?
I don't think I'd change the order; I think they pretty much follow the actual importance of the characters. If I was going to do it just for fun, I'd put Emily Procter (Calleigh DuQuesne) first.
11. If you were able to add a new character, any kind of character you wanted, to the storyline for #6, what would the character be like, and what would their role be?
Hee hee. That would be a character I played in Top Secret game years ago, and who would also provide perfect spinoff material. Dom Santini's niece, Domenica Santini, who pulled a similar stunt to Hawke and ended up with the Roadwraith, a super-motorcycle prototyped by the USMC. She'd fit right into the 80's Super-Tech series (and kick the ass off that pansy "Street Hawk").
12. What happens in your favourite episode of show #2?
Man, there are SO many great episodes of Escaflowne. I suppose it's the episode in which Hitomi and Allen go to rescue Van, who's been captured by Dilandau and Van's brother. We get to see how even Hitomi's running skill has an important part to play in the show, how good Van really is, learn more about all the characters, and watch Dilandau REALLY start to freak when his "beautiful face" is injured (well, if you weren't a PSYCHO, Dilandau, and trying to BACKSTAB someone, maybe it wouldn't have happened, now would it?) (okay, we learn later on it's not really Dilandau's FAULT that he's a total nutjob, but that's not relevant at the time)
13. If you could kill off one of the characters in #1, who would it be and how would you do it?
Hmm. The problem is that there's very few long-term characters in Doctor Who except the Doctor, and he gets better after killing.
If I had to choose one, I suppose it'd be Mickey. He's such a luser. But as he's tried to redeem himself, kill him off in a firefight with something big.
14. If you got the chance to visit the set for either show #3 or show #5, which would you choose?
Babylon 5, no contest. I've SEEN what the set for CSI looks like.
15. If you could date anyone from any of these shows, which show and which person?
Man, that's a hard call. Especially since the way the question's phrased it's hard to say if the question means "character" or "actor". I guess I'll go with "character" because there aren't really equivalent actors in Escaflowne, it being an animated series.
I'm assuming of course for this question that I'm NOT married.
Well, as I don't date casually, really, I have to look at who'd be actually potentially COMPATIBLE with me. Which, much as I like various of the Doctor's companions, and find Calleigh very attractive, and so on, pretty much leaves me with either Sara or Catherine from CSI Vegas. Sara's geekiness and mine are fairly compatible, but Catherine is the sort of woman that might, like Kathleen, push me occasionally out of my geek envelope, which would do me good in the long run, and she seems to have a fairly wide spectrum of tolerance for different types of guys, as long as they're nice guys. So I guess I'd say Catherine Meadows (I think that's her last name) from CSI.

Crossover between #1 and #5: Uhhhh.... perhaps the doctor goes back to the warring states era and finds some bizzare anomaly that's creating all this 'magic' and demons and whatever, and he has to stop it. Of course, he has to find the shikon jewel to do it...
favorite ship from #6: ummm... i'm not aware that they've ever appraised any watercraft...
3 and 6 on a blind date: elizabeth hasselback(sp?) and any one of the blatantly gay appraisers.
spend a day with #4: bill maher himself was the first thing to pop into my head. of course, spending a day with him would probably cause me to commit several illegal acts, so i'll go with one of his safer guets, Jason Alexander. he'd show me around new york (?) and I'd be the gawking tourist who he would make jokes about.
Change #2 plot: Dick wolf clearly knows more about how to write for TV than i do, so I'll let him keep doing what he does. But if I were to make a suggestion, it would be to make the show less predictable.
relationship from #5: of course, the big one is inuyasha and kagome; the're on a bizzare love/hate relationship. because inuyasha is such a jerk, he can't express his feelings for kagome most of the time, which infuriates her, though she's getting better at putting up with it.
Lead characters from 1 and 3 are drowning: egads. Doctor Who or Barbra Walters? Doctor who is the more important person in the cosmic sense, but barbra doesn't have any regenerations... then again, she's nearly 80, so she's about had all the time she's gonna get. I think I'd have to flip a coin on that one.
change credits order of #4: Well, i guess you could thank the guests first, before the host...
Add a new character to #6: hmm. Someone who introduced some old device at the beginning of the show, and told viewers to guess what it did. give clues during the show, and then reveal the function at the end.
favorite episode of #2: don't know the name of it, but it involves a sociopathic kid and the psych who shoots him.
Kill off a character from #1: umm... Well, rose is gone, and until the new season starts I won't know who the companion is. Perhaps have Romana survive the war, find the Doctor, and then die. ;_;
Visit set for #3 or #5: Define 'set'. Actually, don't; I'd go with Inuyasha regardless.
Date anyone from any show: lessee. As cool as being one of his companions would be, I doubt the doctor would be receptive to a 'date' from me, and vice versa. (of course, he *might* be female in his next regen...)
Law and order: Elizabeth rohm would be interesting, but I hear she doesn't swing that way... Angie harmon would also be interesting, as long as we stayed away from politics... sneaking into spinoffs, mariska hargitay would also be interesting.
Among the view cast... there really isn't anyone date-able. most of the cast are taken. Likewise with 'real time'.
From Inuyasha, I would probably be killed if I tried to date either of the women regulars from the show. I'd just get to choose if it were by sword/claws, or sucked into the void in miroku. *shudder*
Finally, antiques roadshow. Not too many female appraisers, and there's the age thing again.
So in the end, I'd probably go with mariska.

The characters are pretty much presented in a mob, so their order isn't really important
Adding a character to #6? Probably have one of Gourry's relatives show up, that makes him look uber-competant in comparison [a nigh impossible task, tis true]
Favorite episode from #2? Hard to say, because there's a lot of good 'uns. Any episode where Stan shows that he's the only decent guy left and Kai gets a chance to protect his companions is a favorite.
Kill of a B5 character? Hmm, I'd probably kill off DeLenn, just because I'd like for some of her manipulations to have pay-back
Visiting the set for 'Firefly' would be much more fun than visiting the animation studio for 'City Hunter', I think [if only because the sets are niftier
Well, probably not date any of them [since it would imply I wasn't with the love of me life] - but going out on a date with someone ... hmm, probably a date with Xellos would be the most interesting [since his public persona is very urbane and civilized - with an enjoyment of social niceties

Hmm... I think Tony's relationship with his daugher Meadow is probably the best relationship he has with anybody, and probably the most healthy for all involved...

Poor Sydney Bristow... Even though the Doctor wouldn't probably need saving, I suspect Syndey'd have drowned before I realized it.

I'd love to see the series from brandon's perspective so let's put him first.

The show needed a good guy not from seatle. (that and a completely different second season, however that aside) 'd like to see a backward Russian-raised goodguy with the typical Russian chauvenism and dedication to freinds.

Truthfully? Seriously? An alien parasite inhabits a young Englishwoman and makes her want to have lots of sex with men which always results in their death. cool episode!

Martha Jones. That or Billie Piper for leaving the show. Nah, I'd still prefer someone other than Martha Jones.

#5 sopranos. I've seen a lot of where they set stories anyway I'd love to see how they fake it.

Probably Rose from Doctor Who. Mostly because the CHARACTER (not the crazy actress) is the most functional of the bunch.
