I would expect it in late 2009, given publishing schedules. The title may be changed, but unlike Digital Knight I haven't had any complaints about the title.

"Digital Knight" was the compromise title. The original (which no one liked) was "Morgantown: The Jason Wood Files". The title I *really* wanted was "Paradigms Lost".

Well, the reasoning was that they felt too few people would get it to make the title worthwhile. I didn't entirely agree, but hey, they're publishing it, their choice.

Not that it's likely to happen, but I can almost see GCA as being something that *could* be filmed.

Isn't *that* a scary thought.

I visualize everything I write as something that could be filmed. GCA would be *expensive* to do, though. Digital Knight, by contrast, would be dirt cheap to do by SF/F standards; you could get four films from one book, and all together they'd be less than one summer blockbuster to make.

Mentally I've started it already -- that is, I know the basic driving forces for the next several books, if it becomes a series.

I'm still working on the rewrite of GCA itself for Toni (she had some specific suggestions and requirements).
