As I just posted in my own blog, we're having an electrical storm in the middle of a snowstorm here in southwestern Ontario; very, very rare, and very eerie to watch. I had a half-dozen lightning bolts less than a kilometer from my apartment if I've got the "flash-boom" count down right.

-- Steve got a bit worried about the power, with the combination of zappy and wet snow on leaf-bearing limbs, but so far so good. *knocks on wooden desk*

PS: it's eerily beautiful to watch; because of the snow and the mist acting like a diffuser it's like the whole sky lighting up, a broad patch of blue-white instead of the more familiar crooked bolt.

We have crazy weather too. Santa Ana winds and single digit humidity. It's caused so many wildfires.
