For me, only one setting REALLY creeps me out: murky water. I have to resolutely ignore the murkiness when I go to the beach. Even a murky pool is creepy enough that I generally avoid them.

When I was a kid we would go swimming at a local beach that was on a murky lake. There were minnows in the lake that would start to nibble on you if you didn't keep moving.
