Albacon CANCELLED???

seawaspFirst Genericon decides they don't want me as a guest any more. Now Albacon, the only remaining local convention, notifies me that this year's con is cancelled!
This sucks. I now have no local conventions I can show the flag at, so to speak. Nor do I have the time, money, and energy to devote to starting one.
