seawasp.... specifically on the "mass-beam" approach. I'm interested in (A) the different types of mass beam one could use and have caught by a magnetic field/set of magnetic rings around a ship, (B) range and targeting that's reasonable in a context of, roughly, 30 years from now, and (C) power/acceleration possible. Anyone have pointers to any good papers on the subject? I did a Google but all I got in the first few pages were very general discussions of the concept which aren't very useful.
