The gift that will give... someday.

I had something on my Wish List which one of my family duly purchased for me. Alas, I cannot use it.

Specifically, Civilization IV for Mac.

Upon looking at the box, it appears my current machines are far too puny and girly-man to handle the marvelousness that they offer.

So I will have to wait until whenever I can afford to get myself a new machine to play it.

However, it's still a good gift. It's been a good Christmas.

Go ahead and try it anyway. I didn't have too much trouble running it on my rev B iMac with 1 GB RAM, as long as I kept to standard size maps.

You probably have to turn off animations and such, but I've seen reports about it being playable on later G4 PowerBooks.
