The gift that will give... someday.

I had something on my Wish List which one of my family duly purchased for me. Alas, I cannot use it.

Specifically, Civilization IV for Mac.

Upon looking at the box, it appears my current machines are far too puny and girly-man to handle the marvelousness that they offer.

So I will have to wait until whenever I can afford to get myself a new machine to play it.

However, it's still a good gift. It's been a good Christmas.

civ IV is great but civ III is also great

Civ IV is great. I think of it as a cleaned and polished version of Civ III.

If you can play Civ III on your mac that should keep you satisifed for a while. CIV IV though nicer is not a revolutionary step above civ III.

I've had CivIII for a while. I was looking forward to seeing the next incarnation.

What I'd REALLY like would be an upgraded OSX version of Alpha Centauri Crossfire.
